We have extended the date for accepting applications for the Diploma in Community Drug and Alcohol Work to 30th June 2020.
This comprehensive and professional course is run by Urrús in partnership with University College Dublin (NFQ Level 7) and intended to provide participants with a range of skills and knowledge both academic and practical which will enhance their effectiveness in responding to the complex issue of drug and alcohol misuse within a community environment.
This programme will be conducted over two semesters in the academic year 2020/21 and will be delivered in a blended learning format. This will consist of a combination of online sessions and real time class-based activities using either a virtual or classroom environment. Prospective students need to be available to engage in learning and study for the full day on Tuesdays, as well as some Thursdays and Saturdays during the semester. It is essential that students have computer and internet access to engage with the course learning.
